An unused strip of grass in the front yard. A sink for excess water and weeds, begrudgingly kept alive and trimmed by push mower and weedwacker. This barely visited lawn was killed, composted, and re-purposed into an edible and ornamental garden that is now
a joy to spend time in. We have met many neighbors and made friends, and dramatically cut the grocery bill while eating a healthier diet. This blog chronicles our harvests, adventures, and recipes of our new garden lifestyle.

It's just so amazing that these tiny little plants grow so quickly to produce baskets of produce a week!
